Dr. J. Peter Pham
Chairman
Peter was previously Vice President for research and regional initiatives at the Atlantic Council in Washington, DC, and Director of the Council’s Africa Centre.
Before joining the Atlantic Council in 2011, he was Senior Vice President of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy in New York City, and editor of its bimonthly journal, American Foreign Policy Interests.
From 2008-2017, he also served as Vice President of the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA), an academic organization that represents more than 1,300 scholars of Middle Eastern and African Studies at more than 300 colleges and universities in the United States and overseas and was Founding Editor-in-Chief of ASMEA’s peer-reviewed quarterly Journal of the Middle East and Africa.
He is the author of several books and more than 300 articles, essays and reviews on African politics, security, and economic issues.
Peter served on the Senior Advisory Group of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) from 2008-2013.
Currently Peter is a Non-Executive Director of Africell Global Holdings and of Rainbow Rare Earths, a Strategic Advisor to dClimate as well as a Senior Advisor at Rose Lake Capital.
Bronwyn Barnes
President & Chief Executive Officer
Previously Bronwyn was the Deputy CEO of privately held Guinean bauxite developer AMC Bauxite.
Holding senior leadership roles Bronwyn has worked with BHP, Fortescue and WMC in Australia and has significant ASX-listed company experience as Managing Director, Chairman and major shareholder of several listed entities.
She brings significant experience and connections in working with multilateral investment agencies and Australian/US Governments for infrastructure development funding support.
Robin Sandenburgh
Board Member
Robin has extensive expertise in environmental management and monitoring, pollution mitigation, stakeholder engagement, community compensation and resettlement, assessment of climate impacts, and ESG training and development.
Robin’s career included 25 years with the ESG Department of IFC, the World Bank Group’s private sector investment arm, most recently as a Senior Manager for Latin America/Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Robin was part of the core team that developed IFC’s 2012 Environmental and Social Performance Standards, widely considered the global benchmark for private investment in emerging markets.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from Brown University in Rhode Island, and a master’s degree in Public Policy from The University of Michigan.
David Boehm
Board Member
David has been the Chairman of Wolmar Investments Ltd., a private investment company, since November 2001.
He was previously a senior partner of Grant Thornton in Hong Kong, and a director of Ivanhoe Capital Pte Ltd., a private company based in Singapore.
David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of I-Pulse Group, where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s global financial strategy, governance, and capital allocation to support its growth and long-term objectives.
Bradley Doig

Bradley has worked in corporate finance at Kleinwort Benson Ltd. and as an investment banking consultant at The International Bank of South Africa (a joint venture between Dresdner Bank and BNP Paribas).
From 1999 to 2001, he served as a senior executive in the special projects division at Mercantile Bank. In 2002, he served as group business development executive at South African management consultancy, the IQ Business Group leading the business process practice.
In 2002, Bradley co-founded Decorum Capital Partners and served as the Chief Investment Officer and executive director of the New Africa Mining Fund (NAMF) until 2006. He currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at I Pulse Inc. and serves as a non-executive director of African Gold Acquisition Corp (“AGAC”).
